As a member, she can get free counselling about love issues and Western culture and a guide book "Connecting You to Love". This means Our Ladies are not only fully-committed, but also well-educated to finding true love and real happiness. In addition, unlike many websites, all our ladies come to Asian Promise directly. Asian Promise communicates with our ladies directly and doesn't accept ladies who come through any dating and marriage agencies/brokers. Some big dating sites have thousands of Chinese ladies, however these ladies don't come to the sites directly, they are from local Chinese dating and marriage agencies/brokers. If she wants to continue her membership with Asian Promise after one year, she needs to rejoin (the cost of membership is same as a new member). During her membership with Asian Promise, she can update her profile, turn off or on her profile and contact us at any time. Therefore all our lady profiles on Our Ladies are valid and up to date. Since all our ladies are looking for a true love and a long term relationship, which needs effort and time as we all know, it is quite usual to see some of our ladies who have been on Asian Promise for one year or even longer than one year. We do not meet and interview every member of Asian Promise, but we do go to China to have "members' meetings" from time to time. We have annual meetings in Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen and other major cities. Through these meetings, we answer questions, gain trust and become friends with our members. Apart from these meetings, we also have very close contact with our members at all times by email and telephone. What is the time difference? Unfortunately this is going to vary depending on which country you are calling from and any seasonal adjustments that exist there. Most telephone directories will list the time difference for you. It is worth noting, however, that is no time difference across China and Hong Kong and no seasonal adjustments. From our experience, most men go to China to see their lady after first corresponding with each other by email or phone for at least 2-3 months. By doing this, the man not only shows his sincerity, but also gets the real feeling of being together. It is usually easier for men from overseas to travel to China than for Chinese ladies to travel overseas because of visa problems. In addition, most Chinese ladies still enjoy traditional dating. They like a man to chase her to prove his interest. In this case we also think you need to consider the lady's view point. You are asking her to give up her job, home, family, culture and food to travel to a foreign country to live with someone she has only met by email. It a big risk.
